Arundel Castle

Arundel Castle is one of the most prestigious visitor attractions in England and one of the country’s most impressive and beautiful stately homes. Lea Graham was responsible for the Castle’s Public Relations from 2008 to 2012.

The work involved writing and issuing a steady stream of topical press releases and accompanying images; liaison with national, local, trade, consumer and broadcast media on a regular basis and supplying marketing material in connection with the on-going list of attractions and special historical re-enactments and events.

A press launch was organised at the Castle each spring to precede its reopening after the winter. Invitations were issued to a comprehensive list of journalists, freelance writers, photographers, film crews, radio broadcasters and online contributors. Lea Graham took responsibility for the entire proceedings including the production of a press pack and arrangement of speakers.

Lea Graham also assisted with the publicity for the annual Arundel Festival, which attracts many thousands of additional tourists from home and abroad to this historic Sussex town. A great deal of artistic input was also contributed by Lea Graham Entertainment.

Representatives from Lea Graham regularly visited the Castle to liaise with the Castle Manager, Bryan McDonald, Head Gardener, Martin Duncan and other key members of staff. They built a trusted relationship which was valued highly by both parties.
