People are at the heart of our business and our business is at the heart of the mid-Sussex community because we firmly believe you only get out of life what you are prepared to put in.
Since 1986 when Susan Fleet founded Lea Graham Associates in Burgess Hill, it has played an active role in supporting and encouraging organisations that enhance that community, from voluntary trade associations to local charities.
LGA has offered pro-bono PR to business associations in the town – Burgess Hill Industrial Association (1986 – 1992); Burgess Hill Business Alliance (1992 – 2002); and the Burgess Hill Business Parks Association (2002 – present) – and is instrumental in coordinating the BHBPA’s Burgess Hill Means Business annual exhibition. Our MD also sits on the board of the BHBPA for whom she judges at the Mid Sussex annual finals of the Young Enterprise Awards.
Susan also previously served on the board of Gatwick Diamond Business and regularly attends their events as an active member.
In recognition of LGA’s unrivalled 18 years as press officer for the South of England Society, Susan was made a life member and now continues to help steward the annual South of England Show.
There is always an opportunity to learn from others…and we do! But after 30 successful years, they often who come to us for advice. We’re happy to act as a friendly occasional sounding board for young entrepreneurs, while actively mentoring young people interested in pursuing a career in PR and its related industries, offering them hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in a busy PR practice.
