"We have found Lea Graham to be professional in all that they do for the school and able to offer ideas and opportunity for good publicity that achieves the required level of media coverage."

Community engagement & promotion
Lewes Old Grammar School
Background: An independent day school with charitable status whose history dates back to 1512, LOGS (as it’s fondly known) is situated in the heart of Lewes but runs a junior school on a separate site on the outskirts of the town. LOGS is unique in being the only privately run day school in Sussex for boys and girls, offering a broad-based education from nursery to sixth form. It has a strong family ethos.
Brief: LOGS sought advice from LGA on how to use PR to engage more with the local community and promote its upper and lower schools to parents within a 20-mile catchment.
PR for LOGS has to prove ROI and we work with key members of the management and teaching staff to generate a high volume of press releases, targeted to different media, to promote all aspects of the school’s activities, particularly those involving members of the wider local community.
Outcome: LGA has achieved a high level of exposure for the school in print and broadcast media locally and the school trustees have reported a greater number of places being filled since LGA was engaged. The senior school is now almost full. LGA not only handles publicity for the school but also assists in developing key contacts, including potential patrons.
