The Moo Man

Background: One of our most exciting projects was assisting in the UK-wide promotion of a film that won the hearts of audiences all over the world. Shot in Sussex on a shoestring budget, The Moo Man – a delightful feature-length documentary about a farmer and his very special dairy cows – went on the road in an unusual tour of picture houses, village halls and festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival in the US.

Brief: Our PR Associate Director Sue Scott led the regional UK publicity for this extraordinary – and extraordinarily good – film, by making contact with more than 300 local journalists nationwide and arranging scores of print and broadcast interviews.

Outcome: The Moo Man, which was crowdfunded, went on to successfully tour international film festivals and the publicity helped its two-legged star not only to keep his farm but also significantly expand his raw milk business.
