Michael Hinton

Michael Hinton has worked as a cocktail pianist for many years, on cruise ships, at private functions and at hotels, including residencies at the Ashdown Park Hotel and South Lodge Hotel. Television appearances include 30 programmes in the That’s English series made by the BBC for Spanish television, and Ration Book Britain for the Yesterday channel.

He is a member of the chamber music group Music Box, founded and directed by world-renowned bass player Herbie Flowers, and he has worked extensively as Musical Director for theatrical productions and for three community choirs in Sussex. He has been the music and singing teacher at Act Too Academy in Haywards Heath, Sussex, and for many years worked as a teacher at the Dartington International Summer School.
