LOGS celebrates record A-Level results

The 6th formers of Lewes Old Grammar School (LOGS) did themselves justice in this year’s A-Level results.

The A-Level pass rate was 97.7%, with 40.3% of students achieving A* to A, 70% A* to B and 82.2% A* to C. The grades the pupils have achieved are a reflection of their hard work and dedication, as well as the commitment and partnership between staff and students at the school.

The top performing students have all got their first choice places at university and will embark upon a range of courses. These include Medicine, Politics, International Management and French, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics.

Head Boy, Sacha Grantham, achieved 3 A*s. Deputy Head Boy, Miles Nnadi, achieved 2 A*s and an A, and will read Medicine at Exeter.

“I am delighted by this year’s record A-Level results,” says Headmaster, Robert Blewitt. “This is a fantastic achievement by both students and staff.”
