Kiki Liu

I started my internship with Lea Graham in October 2009 as I needed relevant work experience as part of my Marketing degree. I worked as a PR and Marketing Assistant for 2 days a week for just over a year and gained a lot of valuable skills.

One of the events which we organised was a Media Reception at Arundel Castle for the launch of the 2010 season. It was very interesting for me to visit the beautiful Castle on several occasions and learn about its history and the events they stage every year for the public. I took lots of photos to send back to my family in China and they couldn’t believe I had been working there.

I also helped to organise some of the events at the South of England Agricultural Society. The South of England Show was a very busy time for us and we worked really hard to make sure the Press Office could help any journalists who needed assistance. I accompanied the official photographers for some of the time which was very interesting.

I would definitely recommend others to join this company, not only to gain an insight into different stages of organising an event but also to improve their communication skills. I had a wonderful time working there and would like to return one day.
