Ruth’s Report: Reaching New Heights

I reached new heights this week with a brainstorming trip to Sheffield Park Gardens. It was helpful to be out of the office environment and the team and I thought up some creative new ideas. The surroundings gave me the perfect opportunity to showcase some of my hidden talents… including tree climbing which I haven’t done for many a long year.

On the way back we stopped at my Mum’s house to say hi where of course she couldn’t resist showing my co-workers pictures of me as a child. Thanks Mum!

Tuesday was an interesting day as I learnt more about the science behind each Electric Body ingredient and researched their historical use for future blogs. Chloe the cat was doing a great job of distracting us as we couldn’t resist doing a photoshoot with her. I also helped her with her next blog.

Working on databases this week was very time consuming and I have learnt it has to be that way because there can’t be any room for error – it’s better to take your time and get it right than do it quickly but make mistakes.

Yesterday an Electric Body customer came in who uses the product in her acupuncture routine. She kindly explained more about the science behind acupuncture and why it works. Although I am still slightly dubious about having needles poked into my skin, I understand how it can be beneficial.

Today was interesting as we had lunch with Nasser from Business Pulse, a business mentor who clearly had some inspiring stories to tell and knew a lot of interesting people. He is another person to add to the ever-growing list of interesting people I have met while working for Lea Graham.
